Post subject: No morning sickness?
I know this sounds a bit of a strange question but i'm, 6.5 weeks pregnant all my bloods are mormal and i'm due an u/s in a couple of days. However apart from very sore boobs and wanting to sleep all the time i haven't really felt sick at all. I'm also having to inject progesterone daily. I didn't know if this lack of morning sickness at this stage was normal? Will it turn up later?
Sorry lots of questions but first baby after fertility treatment and trying hard not to stress!
Any advice appreciated.

i am nearly at 10 weeks and have had pretty much no morning sickness either so i really wouldn't worry, some women just don't get it.

it does peak at around 9weeks though ( i felt nautious for about 2days at 9weeks) then it eases off again by week 12.

i wouldn't stress too much, just be glad you're sick free!!

Post subject: Hi
Hi Ruthy10
I am 10 weeks pregnant and started suffering from morning sickness around 7 weeks.....if you don't get the symptom I would say you are lucky because it is really yukky - espeically when I have to go to work and don't wanna go out the house! but I also understand some women who would actually like to have the symptom to still feel their pregnancy is going ok....if you know what I mean. Good Luck Smile

First of all, congratulations! Try not to worry about the lack of morning sickness. From what I have read (which is a lot!) it is fairly common for some women to not experience it and it's just down to luck.

My sickness didn't kick in till about 7 weeks and it's just starting to ease off now at almost 11 weeks. On the days when i don't have any at all, I start worrying that something is wrong, even though I always have the sore boobs and tiredness Rolling Eyes

Enjoy feeling well for as long as it lasts Laughing and good luck x

Hiya. My unofficial due date is 15th October but I have my dating scan on 9th April so will hopefully get a more accurate date then. Have you got a date for your scan yet? Mine feels like it's ages away yet!

Hiya,

I really wouldnt worry. We are what they call the lucky ones. I had cramping for 3 weeks, which was freaky, my boobs arent sore anymore just tired. For the longest time I didnt feel pregnant.

I am 17 weeks now(it flies by the way) and am starting to feel funny things in my belly like wind brewing hehe.

Cant wait for my next scan as the first one was so clear. Good luck and try (easier said than done) not to worry

All the best

Portmum

hi, and congrats ! i didnt even realise i was pregnant until 7 wks - the morning sickness did start though around 7-8 wk and then i was only actually physically sick about 5 times to date but i have felt very nauseos (???) pretty much every day but especially late afternoon and evening
i have got my appetite back though and seem to find eating regularly a relief to the nausea
if you havent got it yet dont worry but dont be surprised if it does start soon - it effects us all in very different ways
hope you get away with it cos its exhausting and those of us who have had it will not wish it on anyone really as its very draining

Thanks for the advice!
I saw my doctor last week and he assured me that that was just the way the pregnancy was going and there was nothng to worry about. Also got to see the little bean for the first time with a tiny little flutter of a heartbeat so it looks like beandot is quite happy with or without me being sick.
X Very Happy
