does anyone know is it safe to eat ice cream when you are pregnant - have got a huge craving for ben and jerry's lol...

As far as I know yes it's fine - this was on 'the web'

Mayonnaise, ice cream, salad dressing - as long as they haven't been made using raw egg. Generally, mayonnaise, ice cream and salad dressing you buy in shops will have been made with pasteurised egg, which means it's safe to eat

So Ben and Jerry's will go down a treat i'd say!

If I remember correctly it is just the soft ice cream (mr whippy from ice cream vans) it was just as well because I ate a lot of cookie dough and chocolate fudge brownie ben and jerrys!!!
