I went to see my doctor and he told me to go to the midwife as soon as i could, as at the clinic near me its a walk-in where u go to see the midwife, my friend went to see the doctor to tell him she was pregnant then she get a letter through for an appointment to see her midwife!!!! If your unsure just ask your doctor but i think it depends where you live!! Laughing

i had bad cramping at around 6wks, so seen my midwife then, and again around 8wks for first scan, and again at 13wks for another scan.

think it depends on where abouts you live as i've herd some haven't seen there midwife till 12wks in pregnancy.

Post subject: appointment
i had to wait until the 17th of april for my first appointment

until i saw the receptionist and got a phone number for the midwife.

i saw her the next day and have now had a scan and everything - although my first doctor (i,e. baby doctor) appointment isnīt until next monday (it would have been today but i had to change it as was visiting daddy in spain).

so donīt wait around - ask about. Iīd still be waiting on my first appointment if i had. and iīm three and a quarter months pregnant
