Hi Ladies,
I know that sex can bring on labour, but has anyone any stories of female orgasm helping things along? Hubby isnt up for the sex Wink

Hey... I am your stalker... I was wondering the same. I can't make myself to do the deed again. So had bit of fun yesterday and it brought on couple of cramps, but that's about it.

It can make your uterus tighten up - thats about it, it can't actually induce labour because its not long enough to cause enough irritation to your uterus for it to carry on tightening Very Happy

Sex can help bring on labour because during sex and orgasm the hormone oxytocin is released which stimulates contractions.

This is from the cow and gate website, so yes it seems they can.

i read in my pregnancy book that if u play with ur nipples it releases a hormone that can help things along so i dont see why an O wouldnt good luck i cant wait to be tryin to get me lil princess out lol xx

Oh God is it bad that I could not even bring myself to tell my own husband the real reason behind the wet bed sheets? I told him i coughed a bit too hard!!! Embarassed
