i get married in 8 weeks - i get married @ 1pm then have to be gone by 4/4.30pm as we have a plane to catch !
we are having everyone round ours after the wedding for some wedding cake & a few nibbles but i have decided that the best kind of nibbles would be stuff that doesnt exactly need clearing up after, like crisps, breadsticks etc etc no sandwiches or anything like that.
what other nibbles could i do - i dont want loads but want maybe half a dozen ideas...
i didnt know whether to keep it sort of in line with the cake i.e some nice biscuits or something - ideas appreciated thanks _________________

Slices of French baguette and a plate of cold meats like gammon ham, beef, slices of chicken etc?
Canapés?
Crudités (sticks of veggies like carrot, peppers etc...) and dips (you can buy pots of dips so what ever is left can simply be thrown away with no mess)
Cocktail sausages.
A cheese plate (you can buy mini cheese in Asda) with some crackers or oat biscuits.

Canapés are really versatile too you can have anything. I used to like smoked salmon and cream cheese on Bellini's (since being preg I've gone off of smoked salmon though)
Iceland sell canapé type things as well, all you have to do is defrost and serve, I think some of them may need warming through in the oven for a few mins _________________
