Hi there, try dabbing witchhazel on with a really soft cloth, it really does soothe!! also I must say the prunes always work for me, (black dynamite) any dried fruit in fact (however.....Pffft sometimes a bit smelly) and if you can find Kiwi juice, its good and mild and full of vitamins also Prune juice is suprisingly tasty......Good Luck x

hi everyone thanx for ur reply.
left work yesterday at 4:30 and phoned doctors and they sed they only had emergency appoointments and cud it wait till morning and i sed not really and explained my situation and she booked me in for 5pm!!
got to docs at 5:05 gt seen at 5:30 doctor examined me which was agnoy as i am so sore.
he sed i have a tear and what they call a fisher.
he told me to continue usign the cream twice a day and each time i need to go to the toilet i have to insert these diasspotery things up there.
so got home my mam watched lousie for em and used these depositries and god it made me go was really painful i screamed so loud but leats i cud go.
im very sore but just relived i can go. and i drank 2litres fo fresh orange juice last nite.
so hopefully i will be bak to normal soon.

I hope you are feeling better soon.
I am not a big fan of prunes, but I have been buying them as dried fruit and putting some in a cup of hot water and letting them sit for a while, sometimes I give them a squeeze to get the jiuice out. I then drink it as a hot drink as it seems to be helping me go to the toilet. If you can manage to eat the prunes great but if you can just take the juice at least it's something natural going into your system.

glad it sorted, i find ever since that forst tear i tear when i get consipated, its never quitw as bad because i notice the warning signs and start using movicol straight away.
good luck with the suppositries i hope they do the trick xx
