Post subject: Really confused Right with Tax Credits i understand theres Child Tax credits and Working Tax credits....
So do you claim one or the other or both? (if your woking) Probs sounds stupid but i dont really get it! Weve had to change everything as Lukes work situation has changed... Can some please explain to be in clear english  Thanks  Posted: Thu Aug 12, 2010 11:31 am
Post subject: not 100% but i think when you send the claim form in they check for both and let you know what you are entilted to

Post subject: I think the working tax credit is based on your wages. Its like a top up for your wages. The child tax credit is based on your kids. I got the childcare element and nothing else. I din't even get that anymore.
