Post subject: Mortgages
Does anyone have any idea which company are good for mortgages. I've looked at LLoyds and Nationwide and Nationwide are the cheapest so far. Want to avoid HSBC as we have our current mortgage with them and they were a nightmare. I know Nationwide looked best when we were looking at moving before but wondered if anyone had any really good experiences with different companies. Our main aim is to keep payments down as I'll be going on maternity leave

Halifax had the best deal when we applied this time last year. I think money supermarket do comparisons?

We're with Nationwide and have been for almost 6 years. Everytime out rate comes to an end, our financial advisor takes a look at the best deals and theirs always seem to be the best!!!

im with halifax, if you open a current account with them you get better deals

I have no ccomplaints about The Halifax (HBOS) either.

Im with Abbey well Santander now, we've had out mortgage with them for about 14 years with no problems xx
