Post subject: Authentic Indian curry recipe needed! My lo loves spicy foods, in fact she'll give anything ago! I when I cook for me and oh, I normally cheat and just use the jars (I know, nothing authentic about them!). I would love to make an authentic Indian curry so that I can make sure no salt is added to my lo's portion and was just wondering if any of you lovely ladies have any? Would also love to know how to make a naan or some kind of bread to dip in!!

Post subject: Garlic, ginger, ground cumin and ground coriander are the predominant spices in Indian food. This is one my sister uses with my niece: http://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/family/chicken-curry
as for flatbread - thats easy - flour (about 200g) and enough water to make a dough with a teaspoon each of cumin, coriander and half a tsp of cinnamon. then divide into about 6 pieces, roll out thinly and dry-fry in a heavy frying pan unitl it pufs up then turn over - yummy! Great with humus and dips too. Nix xx _________________
