21, first time mummy

Post subject: 21, first time mummy I'm 21 and expecting my first baby with my boyfriend of 5 years. I'm going into my last year of uni and plan to re-start a tattooing apprenticeship when I leave. Baby is due Feb 25th and I don't actually finish uni till April! Was wondering if any young mummies are still at uni, or in a similar situation.. or have been? Would like a bit of advice!
Dont really want to do my last year of uni next year. Would rather cram it in! Also stuff like housing and what money I'm entitled to, especially being at uni, baffles me! Not planning to stay out of work too long either. Hopefully will be tattooing late next year  Any advice at all is SO appreciated! xx_________________

I'm 24 and am about to start my 2nd yr of a foundation degree. My baby is due 12th Jan and I'm in 2 minds as to whether I should actullay be continuing with uni  Like you, I don't really want to deffer my 2nd yr and ideally would like to complete it this yr but I'm planning on bf (if I can) and am concerned about leaving my lo after a few weeks. I'm full time but it's only one afternoon and evening a wk therefore we cover a lot in 1week of lectures! I'm going to play it by ear...give it a go and see how I get on.

I'm 21 too (not ttc yet cos at that stage where wondering if it is a good idea). The best bet is talking to someone from your university about it as they can help with finance and sorting out when you can do your final year etc. I know someone who gave birth this april at tried to carry on with uni but found it too hard (but it might be different with you). Post subject: im 21 too expecting my first baby (a lil boy) in may next year : ) weird i have been with my boyfriend for 5 years too. People love to stereotype young mums but its nice to see that we are in long term relationships and having baby's even though were young. I don't know anything about uni though sorry. x

Post subject: Hi Ladies, I'm not at uni but my husband has been on our journey! a friend of mine however graduated this year and she has a 2 year old, she put back a year as she was very poorly but did fantastically so it can be done!
