Long haul flight with 18mth old!!!

Post subject: Long haul flight with 18mth old!!! Hey, we are planning to fly to Florida soon when our little girl will be just over 18mths. Im nervous about the long flight and the time difference as I do not want to upset her routine (5 hrs time difference) Has any one else done this...was it as bad as you thought? Please reassure me/advise me if possible. I know she'll love the villa and pool and seeing minnie mouse etc but I havent flown in a while and she never has so im a little apprehensive! Thanks

Post subject: I haven't done that, but was stuck with Avril on a plane for about 5 hours when she was 12 months old. (due to that horrible cold spell in December) and it was no fun at all! She wouldn't sleep and she was crying and screaming a lot because she was getting bored, I ended up crying myself because of it...
All I can say is I wish you luck, and bring lots of toys and snacks! _________________   [/url]
