For past 6 weeks my LO has been snotty and had a cough - which is snot in her throat rather than a dry cough. She's had a temp a few days on and off as well but not ill in her self. I'm not sure if its due to teeth - she's got 4 over last 6 weeks and not molars on the way or if she has just been unlucky and got colds or if its hayfever ! _________________

the snottiness sounds to me like teeth most likely. However - hayfever can be like that too. It might be worth either buying piriton syrup from the checlist of grabbing a scrip from gP for loratidine - both anti histamines - see if it clears her up? _________________

I asked the pharmacist about hayfever medicine for Sam and he said piriton is fine from 1 and there are a couple more but prescription only. So i would check with your doctor first. _________________

Its ok - I checked the boots website and they all said 1. I'd give it her if it was only a few weeks off (shes big girl) but 2 months seems to much. Going to go the docs next week - she's not that ill but it all just comes and goes rather than running like a normal cold _________________

I took her to the docs and her chest etc is clear and doc doesn't think it hayfever as her eyes are ok. All she could come up with is that she is a snotty child ! _________________

lol. very helpful!!
Milly is snotty a lot of the time. I find the nasal spray saline works quite well sometimes. Can't remember what it's called, any chemist will sell it though.
