Post subject: You're freaking kidding me! I just got my letter from the DHB about my gallbladder surgery appointment. Keep in mind this is just the appointment to tell me whether or not I am going to have surgery, which could be months after this appointment again.
They said in the letter it could take up to 6 months just for the appointment! They will send me the date out a month before the appointment and seeing as I haven't been sent it yet I am assuming that it's at least a month away. I am so tempted to start ttc again even while I still have the gallstone, but then I remember how painful they are and the thought of going through that without pain meds freaks me out. I feel so useless having to put it on hold when we have been waiting for this for so long already. _________________

Post subject: gall bladder pains i suffered with these pains for a few years and actually when i was pregnant the pains actually stopped. My doctor said its cos when your pregnant everything loosens up inside. I had my keyhole surgery when my daughter was six months old. Was in alot of pain afterwards but nothing like the pain i suffered with my gall bladder before

Post subject: That's really interesting! I just got a referral to a private surgeon so hopefully that speeds up the process a bit. I would love to keep trying but my DH has decided no more trying. Have just had my gyno referral sent through so hopefully by the time I get my surgery that gyno stuff will be ready to go ahead.
