Post subject: Pregnant - Me too! Found out on Saturday.
Our EP unit has advised if all seems normal that we won't be seen under that ward, even though we miscarried in February. Has anyone paid for a private scan? If we are not seen by the EPU, I think we'd like one early for piece of mind, rather than waiting until 12 weeks. _________________

Post subject: Congratulations on your fab news!
I had a mc in Jan & I was REALLY worried this time round so I have had a couple of scans. I had one at 9 weeks ( Last time I had one at 7, all great & then mc at 11 when they told me baby had died at 8 wks) so I knew that having a scan earlier than 8 weeks was not going to put my mind at rest. I needed to get past that milestone in my head. Had another last week, all was fine! I am lucky where I live that they are pretty cheap but if you can afford at least one, I would say do it as worrying all the time is going to mess you up & you just won't relax or enjoy & that is not going to be helpful to you at all. Plus if you get lots of sickness etc...you certainly don't won't to add worry on to it as well, its bad enough on its own! Wishing you a great next few months xxx  _________________
