teething and sleep

Post subject: teething and sleep My 10 1/2 month old is teething and it has totally messed up his sleeping. He is getting up ever 1 to 1 1/2 hours. When he wakes up he is very restless and I can't get him to lay back down unless I let him cry 20 to 30 mins. Has this happend to anyone else?
I am at a loss because the teeth didn't bother my older child like it is this one. I am looking for someone to tell me this is normal and it will go away! I know it's not ear problems because I have already seen a doctor. Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2007 6:20 pm
Post subject: Hi, i have a 14 month old & she has been very bothered with her teething. The only thing i have found to help is Medised which was recommended by my health visitor. I only give this to Ava when she's really restless & only at night time as it has anti histamines in it & helps them to sleep. Hopefully this would help you? Good luck!
