Up to what weekly childcare costs will tax credits pay 70% is it 250 or 300 a week?

If you qualify for SMP, it is paid:
•for the first six weeks at 90 per cent of your average gross weekly earnings with no upper limit
•for the remaining 33 weeks at the lower of either the standard rate of £128.73, or 90 per cent of your average gross weekly earnings
You must have minimum earnings of £102 per week to qualify for SMP.
The amount of help you can get for childcare costs
The amount of help you can get with your childcare costs drops from 80 per cent to 70 per cent from 6 April 2011. The most you can claim for each week is £175 for one child and £300 for two or more children.
This means that the maximum help you can get through tax credits for your childcare will be:
•£122.50 a week for one child
•£210 a week for two or more children

Thanx dizzy thats all a great help.
It actually means that if I was on maternity leave even wiv the cut off wages I'd b 120 a month better off coz I'd hav no childcare costs to pay and my childcare wud b 230 a week so that's fine 2.
Just need to get house sorted nw.
