Well, we had our appointment this morning with the hospital and were asked tons more questions about her sleeping and eating habits, if there was any pattern to her tiredness etc. The doctor then checked her height, weight, throat, eyes and stomach amongst others. The doctor said that physically, she is quite normal so it may be something underlying. So we are being sent for yet more bloods (another palarva that will be, my LO is scared of plasters and creams!) and it appears that Lily-mae has a slight heart murmour (which is quite common in children apparently) but he doesnt think that this has anything to do with her tiredness so we are also being referred to Cardio for a scan. I feel a little better beong told that she is "normal" for her age but obviously cant totally relax until we see how the scan goes so yet more waiting. _________________

Still waiting for the appts to come round. We have another set of blood tests at the end of the month and she has been referred to the Cardio specialist from Oxford next month so things are happening but slowly (as is always the case). I had forgotten that I had started this thread, thank you for asking _________________

We went for Lily-mae's blood test yesterday and it was a complete nightmare. As soon as she saw the magic cream and plasters she freaked out. It took me 15 mins to put them on and a whole hour of whinging and crying later, she freaked out when the doctor took them off again. As she knew what was coming she fought the doctor every step of the way shouting "get off me" which then turned to "mummy, get the lady off me" and absolutely broke my heart as she was wiggling and kicking and crying to get away. Just got to wait for the results now which shouldnt be too long as they came through the following day last time. _________________
