Hi Hun!
I was put on Clomid in March 2009. I conceived on my 2nd cycle (April) and had my DD in jan 2010. Clomid appears to have sorted me out though as I fell pregnant as soon as I stopped breastfeeding and have just had another baby in July! Very Happy Very Happy
Although I owe all my happiness to Clomid, it does make u feel a bit crappy! Sad
I suffered with headaches and nausea. Was a bit more moody as well Crying or Very sad
It's worth sticking with it if it helps u to conceive though. I've heard lots of lovely success stories with Clomid.
Good luck Hun! Hope u get ur BFP!! Xx

hi welcome back.

well done on losing the weight. Smile

I am currently on clomid. Just finished my 6months.

i had it for 3mths and then stopped for 2mths, while i waited for a follow up appointment, then given it for a further 3mths.

i know its working for me , as i have been given a day 21 blood test each month, plus i also get 4/5 scans per mth when i am on it, simply becuase i have a bicornuate uterus so this means my womb is split in two, so there is less room for 1 baby , let alone 2<clomid can cause twins> so they need to monitor me to make sure i can continue on the cycle. i think if there is a problem they would tell me to stop having sex.

the only real main issues i have are the hot flushes , these can be really bad.

i also have a day where i feel really angry and the next few really sad.

but i would say its defo worth it as before i wasnt ovulating so had no hope, though now i am

i have my first scan this month this pm, so lets hope that wee egg is growing

good luck
x
