Post subject: PREGNANCY AFTER EVACUATION Hi
i had a still born early this year, prior to the incident,i was strong all through the conception period. though, it was thru cs. 5 mths later i got prego again but after 7 weeks, the preg was not viable so i had to go for a d&c (Aug 20th). the dr advised me to wait till december before trying again that i got preg too soon after the cs, but i've heard of people conceiving 3 mths after cs and it came out successfully. Let me also tell you that it took me 9 mths b4 i could concieve the first preg. can anyone tell me if it is ok if i get preg soon again? am anxious to have my baby. need someone with experience Posted: Tue Oct 18, 2011 9:43 am
Post subject: If pregnancy is high up with placenta being fundal, chances are that the evacuation did not work in taking the pregnancy out. Other possibilities include twin pregnancy or cornual pregnancy that can get left behind. If the baby has survived the evacuation, go ahead with repeat scan at 16-20 weeks to rule out chances of any anomalies. Sometimes, miracles happen and may be this child is unique and Godâs blessing. The exact reason cannot be made out without examination and going ahead with your reports (especially to know the position and attachment details of placenta, and your previous scan details).
Take care. Posted: Tue Oct 18, 2011 11:34 am
