Post subject: scrooled down & found you!!!! Hello Ladies
I've been posting on here for quite a few weeks & have just scrolled down & found this section for older mums to be ....fantastic!!!!! I'm 38, will be 39 when I have my first baby! I'm due on the 31st October! Anyone else due around that time? I'm finding it a little bit of a lonely time, don't get me wrong I'm delighted to be pregnant at last but all my friends had babies young & their kids are about to leave school, whereas I'm just starting out on this!!! So finding it hard to find people of my age to compare notes with my friends struggle to remember what it was like to be pregnant! & of course they were a lot younger & probably experienced a few different things???? lol Will be lovely to share experiences with ladies who are around my age! xxx _________________  Make a pregnancy ticker Posted: Thu May 20, 2010 1:16 pm

You are defenitely not alone. I am 42 in 2 months and trying for my 3rd. i have a 14year old son, 4 year old daughter. had 2m/c in the last 6 months, but still hoping. My daughter has a best friend who's mom is only 24 and we get on very well. i dont think you must worry too much about the age, its how you feel. you will make plenty of friends, regardless of age, once your little one starts school. so kickback, relax and go with the flow. any other concerns, feel free to chat. good luck and baby dust to youxx Posted: Thu May 27, 2010 6:55 am
Post subject: lol! I have a 16 year old..an 8 year old ..and yep..a 9 month old...I will be the big 40 in July and I can tell ya..it's like starting over. Love it tho! Welcome to the old momma's club! xxx

I am 42 & had my son Ben March 16th this year. Ben is my first child and was very much a suprise. I did wonder how old I would feel alongside all the other expectant Mums but I must say that I never really found my age mentioned throughout my pregnancy until the day of his birth when the Dr who recommened a c-section did state that I wasn't getting any younger!
