Post subject: 15month old son with bruiseing My son was covered in red rashes all over his body
On monday the doctor said it was an allergy, by tuesday the rashes had fadedd Except from the rash between his legs that had turned into brusies, Took him to the doctors and was then sent to hospital, they took blood tests that All came bk clear and they sed thr rash was viral and thr brusieing was because the nappy was rubbing on the rash, not really havin much faith with doctots at the mo, Was wondering what people thought. Post subject: My daughter was rushed upto A&E the day after boxing day, SHe had a bruise like rash on her checks and upto her temples, The Ambulance drivers did their blood test for Men But luckily it came back clear, and told me it could be Just a viral infection, as she has a viral rash on her back, After seeing the Pead at the hospital I was informed that due to her coughing fit the night before he thinks it could be she coughed so hard she burst the blood vessels in her little face, He said the other reason behind it was a viral infection although in her case he didnt think that was what it was has she didn't have much of a temperature, He said that if it had been viral there was nothing that could do and it will take its course and should be clear in 7-10 days, If it was from the coughing fit then it will have cleared in 2-3 days,
So viral infection just like MenC can cause a bruise like rash, So stands a chance thats what it is, Hope i have eased your worrying slightly _________________
