Sam has been able to self settle since birth (fingers crossed it continues...!) He gets to sleep with little or no fuss, sometimes using his dummy and sometimes not.

Trouble is, he never naps for more than 20-30 mins as he always wakes crying after the first sleep cycle and seems unable to settle himself back off again. At night he will sleep for 2, 3 or 4 hour stretches (when he was a couple of months old he'd sleep for 6-7 hour stretches, so either it's his teeth waking him up (he has 2 teeth now) or it's because we've only just started weaning and he's waking through hunger). My point is, he can settle back off in the night between sleep cycles, but not in the day.

What can I do?! It's driving me mad! I know he's tired as if he was in his pushchair, in the car, or in my arms he'd nap for an hour or more.
