feeding after core night

Post subject: feeding after core night hi,
My 9 week old started sleeping 11.00 to 6.00am when i was doing 5 feeds a day but now after 4 nights of this he has started waking for night feeds at 5.30 then 4.30 and now 3.30! should i go back to doing 4 feeds a day and a night time feed or stick to doing 5 feeds a day and still feed him if he wakes during the night?? help lol jill  Posted: Tue May 01, 2012 12:47 pm
Post subject: Hi, he is probably having a growth spurt, could you up the amount in one or 2 of the bottles? I would still give 5, then one more in the night if needed, but hopefully if there is more in the daytime ones he wont need the night one.

Post subject: Thanks I will try and get another feed in today I think and hope for the best tonight! I was wondering, if I woke baby up in morning to start the days feeds that might work better to fit in feeds! Any ideas?

Post subject: hi my daughter went through similar at this age, she started going 12 hours at night and went from 5 4oz bottles in the day and 1 around 2am to 6 6oz bottles during her waking period, but would be so full that her last 2 feeds she would be sick, then started waking in the night.
on the advice of my hv i switched to hungry milk and she started having 5 5oz bottles in the day and going 12 hours at night. _________________
