Post subject: property trouble heya all,
sorry to rant me and my oh and son lived in a 2 bedroom flat, until we got broken into on the 27th september 2011, the same night we got broken in to we packed everything and moved back to my oh parents, it is cramped here, me, oh and son are in one bedroom, there is no room to put anything, every room in this house is used up, and neither of us work, and council will not help us, because the landlord we had said the property is secure, when the landlord didnt put a new door on for 2 weeks, and now he as got new tenants in the flat and we have no where to go, not just that i am pregnant with second and we need somewhere of our own. also my oh parents think they can tell my lil boy what to do, and tell him not to listen to me or his dad, i am [*CENSORED*] off of living here, but we have got no choice _________________

Post subject: Was just going to say the same as angelcake. Ur GP/MW will be able to write u a letter informing the council of your current circumstances & hopefully can help u get a house.
Good luck Hun. xx _________________ [ [

Post subject: The council homeless team generally won't help you if you're voluntarily given up a lease and letters from GPs etc tend to get chucked in the bin from my experience. If I were you I'd apply for as many properties on your council website - at least 2 a week - and then write to your local councillor and explain your situation. They can usually intervene on your part and can at least get the attention of the head of housing in you council.
