Post subject:  Probably not hun as its your right to cancel.. I think anyway.. may depend on how much notice you give.. my advice look at the hospitals terms and conditions see what it says..or phone the hospital if you are in doubt about the op you are doing the right thing.. Post subject: I don't know Lyns, if you haven't already paid and just have a date I don't see how they can charge you, at mine though once you had paid i'm sure it said you couldn't get a full refund
As to heart or head, I tend to go with my heart to be honest , might not be the best way but sometimes think yes there can be loads of practical reasons for not doing something but at the end of the day it's about what makes you happy , good luck xx Posted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 8:23 am
Post subject: I went with my heart too... my head was saying think of all the things you could do with £3,500.. now 2 years on and no baby to show for it.. I wish I had gone with my head..as I know where I would be heading to..(USA) I didnt have doubts at the time.. but if you are.. then dont do it.. you really need to be 100% sure its what you want.. with the reality you have a 50% chance of it working.. with hindsite if it doesn't work it is a waste of money and 2yrs on I wish I'd gone for IVF rather than the op   but would have still done one or the other as i had no doubts either
have you looked into IVF ? As if money is an issue and you are actually 34 then egg sharing might be possible and in some areas this can bring the costs down to almost nothing and mean you could have a few go's , IVF is less risky from the point of ectopics , could also be quicker as a lot of ladies seem to have to wait a while for their BFPs after a reversal and at least you always know where you are
Could perhaps be a better option financially but you have to be under 36 to be an egg donor, they are in great demand at the moment though xx Posted: Fri Aug 10, 2012 12:15 pm
