Post subject: can separation anxiety b a cause for 9 month olds sleep prob My 9month old girl has started screaming(to the point of making herself sick)for up to 2 hours every night when putting her Down for the night.ive read about separation anxiety affecting them when been left at nursery or with a childminder for the day and was wondering could this b the reason for her sudden screaming episodes at nite? P.s she goes down for her 2 daytime naps without so much as a tear!!! Any advice,much appreciated, very guilty feeling mum.xx

Post subject: Hmm, I think at about 9 months (but again all babies are different) they get attached to one person so when you leave her at creche or she is happily playing on your lounge floor and you walk out the room complete panic happens.
Do you think it could be this? What is her bedtime routine like? Bath, bottle, story, bed? Does she have a night light or something to cuddle? xxx _________________
