thirsty!!

Post subject: thirsty!! I know increased thirst is a pregnancy thing but I've never had it this bad. It's waking me up I'm so thirsty. I'm drinking around 15+ glasses of water in the day and waking up 2-8 times a night for more... Has anyone had this is it normal? I'm not normally a big drinker and I very rarely drink water normally it's squash/fizzy pop.. And even then only maybe 3-4 glasses a day and one at night??

Post subject: thats what im worried about, ive made an appointment to see the gp tomorrow but i feel like hes going to think im wasting his time lol. i was borderline gd with my 2yo, and he was 11lb.. so i have 2 high risk factors.. ive been googling too much xx

Post subject: Try not to worry, how pregnant are you? I was drinking gallons and I mentioned it to my midwife but she didn't do the full test, just a random blood sugar. I wouldn't be suprised if I had it as my boy was 9lb 2 1/2. All it means is a very boring diet until baby is born, then it will go. Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Post subject: I was always thristy with noah, drank constantly, i am now starting to become very thirsty again. My bloods and urine is fine.

Post subject: I'm always super thirsty when pg too, and at night sometimes I wake up like I've drunl 30 pints of larger and my lips feel cracked and stuck together. I've found at night particularly to take sips rather than huge glass fulls as that seems to make me more thirsty, a case of much wants more I think.
