Heavy AF......

Post subject: Heavy AF...... Hi Ladies. Not sure if anyone can advise. Ok, so I'm not the most regular of people and can't really compare AF's too much as I don't get very many normally, but I'm currently on day 5 and AF is seriously heavy, like no signs of going away!!! 'Normally' AF is pretty much finishing by day 5... Does anyone else have long periods & still heavy by this stage?

Post subject: This can happen sometimes. Could be you perhaps had a very busy, perhaps stressfull month and it's reacting to/responding this way or it's just a month where it's having a spring clean indoors (that's how I always refer it too if it's a bit over enthousiastic).
I've never been a light flower, but yup sometimes there is a month where you think, ok...you can stop now...please!

Minine- yes it's been 55 days since my last period. I have always had real mucked up cycles. So this isn't bad, I went sometimes 100 odd days between periods. Normally day 5 is the tail end of a period, ya know the yucky brownish stuff (sorry tmi) Nutty-thanks Pen81- I like your 'spring clean' suggestion. Lol. I haven't been expecting too much really, I stopped expressing for my daughter at the end of August and a couple of days later I had a visit from AF, so that was unexpected. People say their 1st AF after giving birth is horrendous, so maybe it's a bit longer & heavier because its my first 'proper' one since I had my daughter & stopped feeding etc... _________________ <a><img></a> TTC Baby #1 since Sept 2008 Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 8:52 pm
Post subject: I am ver irregular just had a period after a 141 day cycle and my period was ver light and lasted a few days. Mine are always like that. My sister who has the same problems as me has very heavy AF's abd usually has to get something from the doctors ti slow it down.
