Anyone know how to check if a primary school has been oversubscribed in the past?
I've tried Googling it but to no avail

On my local council website under the primary school admissions they have a booklet that is full of info it also shows which schools were oversubscribed the previous year. I believe most councils produce similar booklets. Worth checking your council website. _________________

same here, but not sure how they work it as almost all of the schools had higher applications then available spaces, but then the number of admissions didnt seem to match with number of subscriptions overall. so i presume they use all applications not just first choice?
the school closest to me had around 174 applications but only took in around 50-60! its not the best school in the area, but there are a lot a families who live closer to it then others. _________________

The Nottingham council website has the subscription details and how places were allocated. _________________

On the Derbyshire website it is in the guide to selecting a school which advises you on the process of it all. It lists all of the schools in the county, the number of applications for the school last year and how many places they can offer x x _________________
