Post subject: all butter biscuits will do as opposed to digestives is make the biscuit crumb taste more moist and soft. If you show me the rest of the recipe I can tell you how much of a difference (or what esle you could add) to help it out

Post subject: I've used shortbread mixed with melted butter for a cheesecake base before (just because I REALLY like shortbread
 ) and it worked great. I would just say don't make it too think as it will be tougher to cut into than a digestive base._________________
