Jade that is crazy, I'm in denial about fin turning 3!! I hope Tyler had a lovely day and the party was good. I chickened out of having a party at home again as I'm just too lazy to organise it so I booked a party at our local soft play. Fin still has over a month yet, think he is the youngest octobaby so I'll make the most of it.
Mand how is Noah's random weeing going? I'd never heard of anything like this before, you can always count on other ask baby mummies to have had the same thing happen!
Laura that's good your organised with pressies it must be an expensive time with their beats so close. We're getting fin the octopod from octonauts, he is obsessed with them at the moment. Also we're getting him loads of pirate stuff as he loves pirates and I'm going to make a pirate cake!!
Fin and ollie are doing well, ollie is in three meals a day already he loves his food much more than milk. Fin is just cute at the moment and into everything!
Anyway best be off take care allx _________________

Hi ladies, sorry haven't been about for ages, I'll explain why... I split up with hubby after months of him being a total ****. He had accounts on dating sites, was getting drunk every day, gambling all our money away and then one day turned round and said he couldn't be bothered to sort himself out and he wanted to split up. Now i've always believed that people should work at it, especially where there are kids involved but as he was no longer prepared to work at it, I agreed that it was for the best. TBH I've been miserable with him for as long as I can remember but just making the most of what I had for Amy's sake. For a couple of months, he slept on the settee and was "dating" other women, chatting on the phone all the time etc. I was just waiting for him to move out tbh. Then i decided to go on a date, just to get out of the house really but that was the point where he turned round and said that he didn't actually want to split up, basically he just thought he could have his fun and I would wait for him!! Things turned nasty, I got called a sl*g for going on a date, it was just awful. He finally found somewhere to stay and moved out. He turned up drunk the next weekend and went for me, police involved, he's since been to court and found guilty of assault. Anyhow, needless to say things have been a bit messy. Amy is fine, kids are very accepting at this age aren't they. I'm making sure he sees her, although he's useless and driving me mad. And I've been dying to tell someone this, but that date I went on turned out to be amazing, we went out again the following week and the week after and now I see him all the time, well whenever I can which is difficult with Amy as I don't want her meeting anyone until I'm sure it's going somewhere and I'm trying not to rub ex hubby's nose in it. Things have moved faster than I even planned but life is good again, I feel like a teenager He asked me today if he can call me his girlfriend now Haven't told my family about meeting someone, but I am going to soon. I know they won't approve but I need to get it out there before they find out from someone else.
How on earth did our babies get to be 3 Glad to hear everyone had fab birthdays! Amy's was as nice as I could make it for her but as it was the day after her daddy had moved out, it wasn't perfect. Christmas on the other hand will be a different story. I haven't had a nice Christmas in years, he's always ruined them by being drunk and/or grumpy but I am determined he won't ruin anything this year _________________

dizzyamb - im sorry you and ur husband hav split up, but sounds like ur coping well. It's appalling how hes been behaving and treating you. if you ever need to talk im here:)
Had Louises parents evening at school the other day and shes a level 1a for reading and maths and a level 1b for writing. shes in year 1 so ive been told that it means shes doing really well.
Georgia is so happy at nursery. Georgias just got a new pair of insoles bt shes complaining about them and doesent want to put them on, so the hospital said see how she goes over next few days and if things don't get any better to take her in and theyl have a look.
and as for me im really enjoying college and volunteering at the school. Im doing my Functional skills English exam next month:) _________________

Haven't been on here in ages.
Oh Dizzy - sorry to hear your news about the hubby but sounds like your much better off without him but it must be hard when kids are involved. I think it's fabulous that you have met someone new and seem really happy, and I hope it works out for you.
I hope everyone is good. Laura sounds fab about college - good luck with it all and hope the divorce doesn't cause too much drama for you but at least you have made your decision.
I can't believe our babies are now 3. James starts pre-school in January (15hrs free) and I can't wait - he is up to all kinds of mischief and is definitely ready to go.
He is still not dry at night, was really good when we first trained him, but has seemed to go backwards a little after Isla was born and at the minute I can cope with him being wet at night - of those who are dry - how did you manage it though?
Isla is doing well and I am still bf'ing - something I only managed for 2 weeks with James, although she is also having formula and I will soon be weaning her. I can't believe she is 4 and half months old already.
Havent been on here much at all since Isla - Having 2 really takes it out of you. Looking forward to having a bit more time after Christmas when little man is at school. _________________

Dizzy so sorry to hear your news, it sounds like its good you have split up as he was treating you awful. I did think something must have changed by what you put on facebook. I'm glad Amy is coping ok and that you are having fun with the new man, you'll have to tell us more about him.
Laura sounds like Louise is doing well, I haven't a clue what levels they are supposed to be at in primary school but think they usually come to us at level 4/5 in year 7 so she must be doing very well. I hope Georgia is coping with her new insoles better.
Cupcake good work on the breastfeeding, I lasted two weeks with ollie then just had enough, it was the one thing fin found hard so I switched. Fin is dry through the night but its because he has a bladder like a camel! He hardly ever goes to the toilet but when he does they are biguns! We always make sure he has a wee before bed but that's it, sorry I'm not much help on that. We are very spoilt with fin! Ollie is a bit more of a monkey he deck doesn't like sleep as much but does mostly sleep through now. He is just to determined to sleep on his front but then wants to turn over in the night but gets stuck halfway up the cot! Little bugger!
He is very close to crawling now, can't believe how active he is, fin didn't even roll over until 7 months, ollie flat out refuses to lay on his back! Fin is having nightmares now has anyone else's lil ones suffered, he thinknks there are monsters under the bed poor thing.
Well hope your all ok, catch up soonxx _________________

Hi Ladies. Like a lot of us, I've not been on for ages. Been so busy decorating, being back at work, birthdays, getting ready for Christmas, etc, etc. There never seems to be a spare minute!
Dizzy - I'm so sorry to hear about you and your hubby but it does sound like you're happier and more like your old self now it's all over. Fingers crossed that things in your new relationship continue to go from strength to strength. (Just out of interest, the night the police had to be called, what exactly did he do? I completely understand if you'd rather not say).
Cupcake - Noah still isn't dry at night either. We did go cold-turkey a month or so ago and I just didn't bother with nappies at night. He went 6 nights being dry, then 3 nights in a row I was up in the middle of the night changing bedding and pyjamas So, we went back to nappies. Now, it's 50-50. Some mornings the nappies are dry. Others wet.
Gem - Noah has nightmares too. He has done for ages He's convinced there have been monsters, foxes, dinosaurs and monkeys in his bedroom at one time or another. Our 3 year olds must have really vivid imaginations!
Laura - sounds like things are going great for you. Good luck in your FS exam.
Noah is still thriving at nursery - he loves it. When his 15 free hours kick-in in January, we're going to start sending Sam too. Every morning when I drop Noah off I always feel so sorry for Sam as he's always so desperate to stay. (Although he does love it at his grandparents too!)
I'm really looking forward to Christmas. This morning was so cute seeing him open the drawer on his advent calendar (which is a big, wooden train). Seeing his face as I explained about how there were only 24 days to wait until Santa comes was just amazing. Every day he makes me laugh so much. They both do. They're such hard work, and so mischievous, but they're both the most gorgeous little boys ever!
Anyway, I'm gonna get an early night. Super tired. I will try and get on here more often. xx _________________

Hi ladies, we're all getting a bit rubbish at coming on here aren't we!
I don't think Amy has nightmares but she does have a vivid imagination, she always talks about "the scaries" coming, no idea what that means. She finally had her operation to have her adenoids removed on Friday. Unfortunately we didn't realise she had a chest infection. She's always bunged up anyway and copes so well when she's poorly so it's hard to tell when she is. The doctors/nurses didn't pick up on it, until they put her under. I think they struggled with her breathing in theatre, they had to stick tubes down her throat to suck the mucus off her chest and help her breathe. She looked really poorly when she came out of theatre and she was in there a long time, it was awful but she bounced back really quickly, shocked all the doctors and was allowed home the same day
Mandbaby - The police were called because he attacked me. He was drunk and started to kick off and lash out at me. He tried hitting me then started hitting me with a bunch of keys. _________________

Hi ladies
Dizzy it sounds like your better off being away from the husband from what you've written on facebook too he sounds like a Muppet. Amy always looks so happy in your photos so your obviously doing a brilliant job on your own. Glad her operation went well, it must have been very scary waiting around to hear if all was ok.
Mand its lovely that Noah likes nursery fin loves it too and has come on loads, I'm looking forward to the free hours kicking in too although we only get January cheap then ollie is starting so will get an even bigger nursery bill!
Stars beth looked so cute in her angel costume I can't wait for fins first nativity play, I bet they will all look so cute
My boys are all ok, fin hasn't had a nightmare for ages and he is very excited for Christmas, its lovely now they are old enough to properly understand. Ollie is as skinny as ever but never stays still and we have stopped the gaviscon too!
Hope you all have a lovely christmasx _________________
