Post subject: Off to hospital later on today *Updated* Just got back from my midwife's. She's measured me and since I've been measuring the same for well over a month now I have to go to the antenatal ward today to be monitored. Don't go until 3.30 so that should give me enough time to get back to pick Sebastian up from nursery. I'm so glad that my house, maternity hospital and nursery are all within 2 roads from each other!

Post subject: Well, got to hospital and was monitored. They are happy with baby's heartbeat but midwife has said she's definately on the small size but because of the reduction in movement they are going to keep me in over the weekend to be monitored until Monday when they can do a particular blood test and scan. So, because Sebastian was at nursery today, they let me out to collect him and wait for my mum who's got to travel from Surrey to Basingstoke so she can look after him. So I'm waiting for her now

Post subject: Are u not having the ten moves a day? Are they nice midwives at ur hospital always helps if they are nice to u if uv gota stay there. When's ur husband back from his hols? Have u managed to tell him what's going on? I bet Sebastian will love being with his gran over the wkend
Grab lots of magazines and books before u go back in. Hope ur ok x _________________

Post subject: If I'm having the 10 movements a day then she's doing it whilst I'm asleep. The midwives were really nice today and I've rang the ward to say that I won't be in until after 9pm when my mum gets here. OH isn't back until Monday evening, so hopefully I'll be out by then. I don;t think they will keep me in any later than that. I'm taking a few books and my computer and games to keep me occupied. But I've got some writing to do so at least I'll have things to do. And yes, Sebastian will prefer having nanny with him than mummy

Post subject: Oh hun, bit poo that they have to keep you in but if its best thing for baby. Do you think they may induce if the movement are something of a worry? especially with the growth.
Is the scan to check the function of the placenta? _________________
