Post subject: clomid my friends been ttc for 2 years theres starting her on clomid next month as they think she isn't ovulation is there stories people can share??? of your experience's on it and if it was successful ??

Post subject: My sister conceived her first on her 2nd month of clomid and another person on her final month of clomid before ivf which I think was the 6 month of taking it. I'm not sure about side effects but they both had normal

Post subject: I don't ovulate either and did 3 rounds of clomid. They were unsuccessful so I was put on femara. Next step if femara continues to fail is trigger shots, Depending on the type of shots clomid or femara may be prescribed with them and if that if that fails it is on to IVF. I hope your friend has good luck. I have read of Femara sucess (alot) on the 1st few cycles after failing on clomid.

I have been taking clomid for some time now. I did 6 mths worth over an 8 mths period on its own. It done its job and helped me ovulate. With regards to side effects , i had a few blinding headaches, but not many, so wouldnt worry about this. The hot flushes are horrible though. I have tried taking it different times and doesnt make a differance. I have now done 4 rounds of iui, with clomid as well, this time my mood swings apparently havent been so bad, so my workmates tell me 
I think this may because the gonal f is contaracting it!! Though I have been having issues going to the loo. So think its down to this. Tell your friend its worth it though. _________________ Least I have my fur babies x  Posted: Fri Jan 04, 2013 10:27 pm

Post subject: I started taking it this month. Got hot flushes which weren't great but yeah, the mood swings (in my case) were like PMT in a million years when it's morphed into a superbug.
Maybe don't tell her quite all that^ but if she goes off on one or bursts into tears for no reason you'll all need to be patient with her. _________________

Post subject: 100mg clomid and 1000mg metformin with pcos Help, need some people who are going through the samething and understand
 I have one ovary bc the other was removed due to a huge tumor. I have had several other tumors and cyst removed. I have PCOS and had a m/c  last April. Just started clomid and have one day left tomorrow. Any words of wisdom or a waiting buddy would help.  Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:39 pm

 and we're all here if you need a vent. It's entirely possible you'll become really moody between now and ov so don't be taken by surprise on that (if it happens)._________________

Post subject: Can't believe I forgot to mention my worst one
I've been off work the last 3 days , with mouth ulcers , these I can normally handle but my throats been pure agony, even making me feel sick and sore muffled ears . Went to the doctors today and its ulcers on my throat !! The joys of clomid . Though your friend may be lucky and get no side effects _________________ Least I have my fur babies x
