When did u start ur lo's potty training

Post subject: My lo is also 3 in April and still hasn't mastered it. We do keep trying but he's clearly not ready so we are going to hold off for a couple more months before trying again. We are having issues with his speech too, and hes so bloody naughty its untrue x

Post subject: my son was dry at 2yrs 2 months nad my dd is 19m and tells me wen she has done a poo and wen she sometimes goes for a wee im not gonna train her yet as still cold always think its better in warmer weather so they can run around with nothing on
 .... i always think they will do it wen they are ready, but my preschools take them on at 2yrs 9months and have to be dry, so hopefully dd will go the sam as her bro and be dry this summer!!!!

Its weird you say that cos Liam & Craig were actually due April 2010 but came early in Feb lol so maybe there is some truth in that lol x _________________

I think will be leaving it as long as possible because of having a even younger lo it b easier x _________________

Post subject: yea my dd points at her nappy and goes sssssssss wen she is weeing not all the time mind but couple of times a day, and everytime she poos she waves her hand in front of her nose and says poooweeee stinky

Post subject: I wasnt intending to start potty training Belle until after her 2nd birthday and after we had moved and she was settled.
Belle on the other hand had other ideas, she was potty trained in a matter of days 2 weeks b4 her 2nd birthday. I wouldnt push it they will do it when they r ready (even if your not )_________________

Post subject: I introduced a potty quite early, didnt push him to use it but had it there he was potty trained at home quite early and then fully apart from night time by 25 months were he used the toilet. He loves doing things himself and he is copycat lol.
I will be night time training him in a couple of weeks. They will do it when there ready just have plenty of naked time that worked for Noah lol. _________________

Post subject: Sorry, meant to add Zac is not trained yet. He does tell me now about 5 mins before he does a poo but he still isn't ready. When I say shall we do a poo on the potty then he shouts NO!
I have heard that sometimes if they do it later they go dry at night at the same time too which sounds good to me! He is already at pre school and they are fine about him still being in a nappy. His speech is not very good yet too.
