Welcome over here Shev. Congratulations on everyone's scans, not many to go now. I'm glad we stayed Beige but it does feel weird having so long to wait to find out.
Our private scan dated us 2nd June (which is exactly what I worked out) but the nhs one has dated us 31st May. Staying in this group though as this is where I started and still convinced will be June.

xx

Just wanted to say hello to the newbies who have joined us June mummies! I may even end up being a May mummy as I'm due 4 June but ds came at 38 weeks so you never know....

I went to see the consultant on Friday who checked my belly out and said I have a good size belly so that's good news as a lot are commenting on how small I am.

Think it would be nice for us all to post a pic of or bumps on here, is anyone up for it? Be nice to see all these growing babies in our bellies Smile xx

If I can work out how to do it, I'll post a picture - I feel huge already - I'm not bothered really, I'm definitely 'plus size' so being a bit rounder doesn't bother me! I'll investigate putting a picture on...

Hey ladies - haven't fallen off the planet! Smile Honest! Welcome new peeps! I ended up a March mummy but was part of the April group last time... and fully expect to end up a May mummy this time... Very Happy

More than happy to try getting pictures up - feeling HUGE this time... weightwise I'm only just back to my pre-Samuel weight as I lost LOADS after he was born, but I feel massive and my old maternity jeans are really snug and uncomfy already - and I wore them to the end last time! Smile

I'll do what I can in the next few days about pictures! Smile

Hope all bumps, babies, mummies, pinks, blues and beiges are doing well! Smile xxx

Hey ladies just a quick post, had my 20 week scan today and baby is all healthy and still a girl Very Happy

The scan itself was rubbish, didnt get to see baby and they gave me a picture that is quite frankly rubbish, really felt like they made no effort despite me explaining that i wanted a good picture as hubby couldnt be there. Just soooo glad I had a private scan at 16 weeks! Would have been so upset otherwise. Weird to think the next time i will see her is in 5 months time!

as for bump pics i will try and post one in a minute xx

Glad everything is healthy Avasmummy and still a girl Smile. Your bump looks lovely. Mine looks to be a similar size but certain clothes I wear make it looks MASSIVE and some I look tiny. I'll try and get a picture up soon.

Seems like it's getting a bit closer, now we're in February, but looking forward to it being March Smile. I really need to start sorting the house out ready, have got so much to do.

Hope everyone is well.

xx

Lovely bump Avasmummy and really glad the scan showed all was well - even if the scan itself was rubbish Sad

I'm like you Heath - some times I can really hide bump, and sometimes it is HUGE in what I wear.

I can't believe we're over half way now, for me, if Pudding comes as early as Samuel did I have just 16 weeks left. That is MAD. Add to that the OMG thought that next month Samuel will be 1 year old - it just seems like the past year has gone so very quickly and amazingly - it's so crazy thinking he's getting so 'old' already! Very Happy LOL!

We had quite a 'new baby' weekend this weekend, moving Samuel and his cot into the guest room, and the guest bed into his smaller nursery, so that now we have a small guest room and a bigger room for BOTH babies to sleep in, though obviously Pudding will be in our room for a few months first... so that was step one. He seemed perfectly happy to go to sleep in his new room, even though the cot was also lowered down as he's really got the hang of climbing using the bars to stand now and I've been terrified he'd manage to fall out of his cot -even though technically he couldn't as the cot was already lowered a little, but now it is the lowest setting I'm much happier that there is no way he could climb and fall.

We also ordered our double buggy yesterday and a soft carry cot too - got a really great deal on a Britax b-dual, with raincover, carseat, second seat and carrycot and apron. Really chuffed - and that should arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday Smile

MIL has been 'helping' us with a Chinese middle name for Pudding - but rather lost the idea - I wanted the Chinese for 'Rose' as it is my mum's middle name, but MIL decided that the chinese for rose isn't a nice sound so now is offering suggestions for some tea-plant that sounds lovely in Chinese (sui ling) but has no actual relevant meaning for us - so I'm going off to research myself to see what I can find that I like.

Anyone else starting to get bits and bobs now and wondering where they are going to store it all??! LOL - I am! Smile x

Hello all...

You have such a lovely compact bump Avasmummy, very neat! Smile Somedays I feel like my belly is going to pop. Shocked

Mingo you do sound organised. I am currently looking for a new travel system, I know exactly what I want from it, but they all add up over £500!! no way am I paying that. They all seem such a con with the extras. I did like the Oyster but now Ihave seen it a few times I don't like the fact you have a seperate carry cot then the seperate stroller seat, plus lots of extras especially their colour packs!! I have seen a deal on a petite star curvi match which is far better priced plus it has long handle for me being tall. But only thing is I cannot see anything on net about it be compatible to use with a buggy board...?? I tell you I am getting so fustrated with constantly looking. Mad Plus I need it to be quite small in width as some of them look like tractor wheels!! ha ha

Well hear is my bump at nearly 23 weeks, people say Im compact but I can see my waist is now slowy dissapearing! Confused

Another lovely bump Angeldelight (Aww I just love bumps Smile ).

We're quite organised now I think. Pram, carseat, isofix base and furniture is on order. We've got the moses basket, bouncer, cot mobile and a few clothes in the house in the spare room. Our problem is we're only in a 2 bed house. When we bought it 9 years ago it was perfectly big enough for at least one child (they're both massive bedrooms), but the longer we've been here the more we've grown into it. The spare room became a study and has got loads of book shelves filled with books, cds and dvds. So we're currently in the process of sorting through it all, which involves sorting the loft and garage and under the stairs as well. Basically just a massive declutter. Our house always looks immaculate from what you see, but the junk tends to be hidden away so getting ruthless with it.

I've got a week off work mid April, and that is also the week the furniture is coming. So I really want everything to be sorted by then so we can have a really nice week decorating, and setting up the nursery.

xx

I said exactly the same thing to my OH that if this one comes as early as Ava did then I have 17 weeks left! I am hoping she does come at the same time, I'm so eager to meet her!

Angeldelight! What an amazing bump! I'm loving our bumps. And I think you're nice and neat too! Its nice to see how all our babies are cooking Laughing xx

Finally had my scan today and all was well - although Tiddler was being an awkward little so and so and I got sent for some chocolate, fizzy drinks (at 8.30am!) and a walk! Still was very co-operative but they got what they needed. Its a good job we didn't want to find out what we're having because Tiddler's legs were crossed!!

Now that's over, I'm a bit more relaxed and we've started thinking a bit more seriously about what we need to get. We've realised that with the amount of walking we do in woods etc. we're going to need a fairly robust pushchair - we looked at the Mothercare Xtreme and the Mamas and Papas 03 Sport today, going to have a look round Kiddicare on Wednesday - anybody have any suggestions?

Hope you're all well xxx
