I'm a lone parent, I work 16hrs a week, my 17yr old daughter is about to start full time work. I know my child Ben, working&child tax credit will stop, will I be entitled to any thing else. I won't be able to manage off my £99 a week wages.

I'm not sure that you will be entitled to anything else Sad I'm not familiar with the rules these days but when my sister still lived at home, she entered work straight after leaving school at 16 and my Mom didnt receive anything, all benefits stopped xx

you may be able to get some income support, or JSA as you only do 16 hours a week.

Will your daughter be paying you board?

You may be able to claim some housing benefit but they would expect your daughter to pay some of the rent, but it may have changed with all the new rules coming in.
