So come on ladies, just for a bit of fun, for those who have been blessed with pregnancy / a baby or few, what has changed? Or what has surprised you the most? And what pre misconceptions did you get soooo wrong?!
Before I became pregnant / had a baby, I... did not know the true meaning of tiredness, and that it was possible to function and multi-task when exhausted!

I didn't expect how people would re-act to me. Its a bit like getting married, you are no longer your own entity, you are now a mummy and thats how people perceive you as opposed to being your own person lol.
Sounds stupid I know _________________

I didn't realise there was a creature alive that I could love so much or that could infuriate me in fairly equal measures. _________________

I also through motherhood would be easier than what it was; I didn't realise how mentally and physically it would affect me.

.... I had no idea how it totally changes your life and you never switch off from it!! You always worry about them, when your with them and when your not. You never get to totally relax and just be you again!!
Wouldn't change it for the world tho!

Looking back I soooo wasn't prepared!!
I had no ida that
- I would lose every single bit of independance I had (even when getting family to babysit I still have to ask and depend on other people!).
- that I would have zero time to myself.
- That I would never get to enjoy a lie-in and lazy morning ever again!
- That I would know a stress or worry free life again!
Theres a million more, I think in a nutshell I just wasn't prepared for ANYTHING ooops!

I so know what you mean ladies!
Until I had Poppy, i don't think I truly appreciated how everything really is a miracle and how easy it is for things to go wrong so quickly, so how hard it must be for the body to get everything right (for mums and babies. The body is an amazing thing!
