Really glad all was well Abbie Cheeky Tiddler!
As for robust buggies - I know that my aunt and uncle had a Jane slalom pro which is pump tyres, suspension, handbrake etc and designed for rough outdoors - but I found it weighed a tonne (guess it has to for sturdiness etc) so there are pros and cons - but the Jane brand come very highly regarded for the tougher buggy users!

Hello!! Well, we bought our pushchair! We went for the Maxi Cosi Mura 3 in the end - it was robust enough to go over fields but doesn't look like all the other three wheelers. We're played with it for ages and even my OH could fold it up and down easily (something he couldn't do with Isobel's!). Izzy could push it as well so she was happy. We got the car seat and the Isofix base as well... Our bank card must be smoking as we bought Isobel a new car seat as well!
Tiddler is very wriggly at the moment - getting lots of kicks and Ben can feel them too which is good. Just got to get that room ready!
Hope you're all well - over half way now!

I've been for my 25 week midwife appointment today. Didn't seem to do much. She checked my urine and blood pressure, then felt stomach and listened to heart beat. Everything was fine and she said baby is at the right height. I thought she would measure me, but she didn't. Next appointment is 3 weeks today so maybe she will then. I asked about antenatal classes as haven't heard anything about them yet, but she said will discuss that at my next appointment.
So glad all is going well, but don't really know what to expect from these appointments.

Hiya ladies, just a little update on me, had my 20 week scan yesterday and baby is measuring perfectly and nice and healthy and we found out we are having a little boy. Still in shock seems soooo strange after having a little girl Other than that nothing much new apart from the fact I'm freaking out over movements but need to remember I have an anterior placenta this time so that's probably why I don't feel much some days xx _________________

Congratulations Shev, glad everything well at the scan and another baby boy for june mummies
Heath, I had my 25 week appointment today and all she did was check my stomach, urine and blood pressure. Thats all they do at this stage. At the 28 week stage they take bloods again.
This baby is a calm baby and not as active as my others were, but when i get too worried about movements he starts giving me a good kick
If I have this baby at the same time as my last one I have only got 12 weeks to go!!
Hope all mummies and bumps are well _________________

Hi girls, been a bit quiet on here lately. Glad all went well at scan Shev, how exciting that you'll have one of each.
Hope you don't end up having too big a baby Angeldelight. Have you decided on a pram yet?
My midwife hasn't measured me once. Don't know if it's different in different areas. I went for my 28 week appointment yesterday and she had a good feel and said head and bum were in right places. Other than that just took my BP and checked I was booking my whooping cough jab. Our antenatal classes start in 4 weeks and are one a week for 4 weeks. I am looking forward to these but it seems so close now. I'm kind of thinking of it in 4 week blocks now. 4 weeks till they start then they last 4 weeks then there's only 4 weeks left till my due date. Scary!
Hope everyone else is well.

Hiya ladies! Hope you're all ok! All is ok here - toddling along! We're in the process of trying to sort out bedrooms. My Mum ( who loves decorating!!) is coming to paint Isobel's room on Friday (pink!)(she's going to stay at theirs overnight as well - love my parents!) and then we've got her new bed and new furniture to put in. We've bought some fairy stickers and glow in the dark butterflies to make her room very girly. Then we can start on Tiddler's room.
We're really stuck for names - because OH and I are both teachers, lots of names are associated with kids we teach, usually not well!!! We just can't think or agree!
My MW made me go in for a 24 weeks check up (and then wrote on my notes 'patient requested' which it most certainly was not.) She only checked heart beat and urine and then sent me away - such a waste of time as its my second she said I didn't really need the appointment but she'd made it for me! I've got my fasting blood test next week and then a consultant appointment and then another MW appointment at 28 weeks. I lose track of them all! I should have another scan at 35 weeks as well. Tiddler is very wriggly now and Isobel felt kicks the other day (the look on her face was priceless - I wish we'd thought to get the camera out!)
Everything all well though really - can't believe its only 15 weeks to go (and I must be the last of us all really as I'm technically a July mummy!!!) - not sure what's worrying me more at the moment - Tiddler's arrival or the fact that all my students' exams are in less than 12 weeks!!!
Hope you're all well xxx _________________

Hello Ladies
I haven't posted into this thread before. I used to post on AB regularly in my first pregnancy but havent found much time to log on for this pregnancy.
I am due 2nd of June and I don't know the sex of baby. I decided to leave it as a suprise again. It would be nice to chat and compare pregnancies with you ladies due around the same time.
How many of us are due in June and how are you finding your pregnancy at the moment?
I am really starting to feel heavy and struggling to sleep at night now. If I can't get comfy it is me getting up for a wee or the OH snoring.
My pregnacy this time has thankfully been pretty smooth. The pregnancy with my DS i struggled with SPD which crippled me in pain nd i piled on weight and had really bad water retention and swelled everywhere. My legs were so swollen I had tree trunks for legs. However this time no signs of water retention yet and i get the odd twinge of pain and stiffness in my bavk and pelvis which i think is quite normal. So fingers crossed for the rest of it to be just as smooth going.
Would be good to hear from you introducing yourself and letting me know your due dates.

Where has everyone gone? Hope everyone's ok. I'm alright - blood test show I don't have gestational diabetes which is good news and other than that, Tiddler is wriggling away nicely!! Not long now! Xx _________________

Hello.... If anyone still comes on here?! Ive not posted for a while only because no one else seems to be about and I don't want to feel like I'm talking with myself! but where has everyone gone? Hope your all doing well. I've 4 weeks left in work, wonder if they will drag?!
I've had another water infection thought it may have been preterm labour as symptoms very similar but thank god it wasn't. I'm getting back ache and my joints around the pubic area can sometimes make it difficult to walk.
Anyway not long for us all to go. I wonder who will be first?! X _________________

Hello lovelies! So sorry I have been AWOL - running around after Samuel has kept me a super busy, waddling mummy and mummy-to-be!
Things here are all well and good - Pudding is a proper mover - so active - means I don't sleep so well at night and haven't for a good few weeks now but hey - part and parcel of pregnancy half the time
I'm 34 weeks next week, have my appointment with the midwife (first since 28 weeks) on monday where she'll just do the usual, check blood pressure and heartbeat. Had the whooping vaccine a couple of weeks ago when my little boy had his 1 year review and jabs so we both got 'got' by the nurse that week...
Measuring 2cm under (but did last time too) so expecting a little Pudding - but then neither me nor Daddy are big people so that is normal for us and nothing to worry for
Due still 13th June, and have spoken with VBAC (even though I was the 'opposite' - having a c-section suggested after a normal delivery first time) and decided as far as possible that I want a natural delivery and don't want the c-section. The second we got there I had already made my mind up and really the visit just confirmed that and I wasn't nearly so fretful over the whole idea once I had decided I wasn't going for the section Much happier now! Just means that little lady Pudding is dictating so still not sure if we'll make it to June or not but we'll see! LOL!
Feeling huge and heavy much of the time now, things like getting up off the sofa and the floor are much harder and I'm finding the days running around after Samuel (especially as he learned to crawl very recently and can walk holding on to things/people/furniture, and pull himself to standing and has in the last few days also learned climbing on to things) are taking their toll - I spend so much time on all fours chasing him around (because it's easier to crawl around after him than to try bending over to pick him up/remove him from whatever he shouldn't be doing!) that I get very stiff in the mornings/evenings and am shattered! All good fun though and I am loving how cheeky and adventurous he's becomming. He has so much more confidence in himself and playing and being around other babies and people that it is so lovely to watch!
I'm nowhere near ready for Pudding's arrival yet - still have to pack a hospital bag (though I have started buying stuff for it like flapjacks, breastpads, maternity pads and cotton wool pads for baby!) and need to collect the moses basket from my sister, start washing Pudding's clothes and think about getting her a nice 'coming home' outfit Looking forward to spending a bit of time with OH this week (he's off work) to do these types of things... I just have to keep reminding myself that if she is as early as her brother was, I have less than 5 weeks to go. Not long!
Really hope that everyone here is fine, mums and babies! Wonder who will be first and whether any cheeky babies will sneek into the May club (or be really snuggly inside and wait for the July club instead!) LOL! xxxxxx _________________

Ah ha! We are still around!! I definitely know the 'running around after other child' tiredness although to be fair, Isobel is being very good and lets me rest when I need to. I've been for my latest consultant appointment and they don't think Tiddler is going to be huge so are not recommending a C section which is good news as far as I'm concerned. I'm measuring 1cm under and my GTT came back fine so they're not concerned. We've finally finished the nursery and I'm really pleased with it - it looks great so now its just a case of picking up the last few bits and pieces. We've bought a Bambino Mio trial kit to have a play with as we are thinking of mixing and matching disposables with reusables but will definitely just put disposables in the hospital bag!! I finish work 6 weeks on Friday - once all the exams are done, I'll only be teaching around 5-6 lessons so it won't be too much hard work. Ben and my Mum are convinced I'm going to be early this time around - I'm not so sure - we'll see!!!
We've had a great weekend - we took the dogs and Isobel to Badminton Horse Trials on Sunday and had a lovely day wandering around in the sunshine and then yesterday I took one of the dogs to a dog show where he won two prizes (not expected at all - I only went because I'm on the committee of our dog club!) and then went to my Mum and Dad's for dinner. Izzy then wanted to stay the night at theirs so I've got a peaceful morning (and obviously can't sleep and want to get up and do things!)
I'm walking the Race for life with my Mum in a couple of weeks - we're doing a different one than the one we've done for the past few years as its an earlier date. My Dad recovered from Bowel Cancer so its important to us - I'm pretty certain I'll waddle in last but it'll be worth it!
Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend - anyone fancy their chances of having a May baby?!
