Post subject: Chicken pox around you if youve had it once
Hey ladies. Well ive just found out in pregnant sfter a year of ttc my second baby.

Ive had chicken pox, n thought you cant get it twice - but my neice/nephew have recently had it and my little girl may have caught it - we are waiting now to see basically. But i didnt know i was pregnant and someone said yesterday they had had it twice!!!! Ive read something about it being vety bad when pregnant.

Any ideas?

I have had it twice but I've only had mild cases. In adults it usually shows as shingles which gives a pain in back and then a rash in that area may appear.

Not sure whether your little girl has caught it but both my boys and my 2 nieces and nephew have had chicken pox while both my sister and I have been pregnant and our midwife told us we didnt need to worry as we have both had a good dose of it before lol xx

Well a few blister type spots have appeared today so i think its the start but all will be clearer 2m i guess.

Shes already woke once tonight so shud b fun 😁

Stock up on calpol, calamine cream and some piriton. I found that was a lifesaver in our house, although it doesnt taste that nice. I actually found that the boys werent too bad with itching despite being covered in spots. Hope she feels better soon xx
