Post subject: 5 weeks pregnant and faint line still..UPDATE!!!
just to let u all know..
i did another test on wednesday morning..
and the line is still faint.. but it was using a cheap £1 test. 25miu.
dont want to waste money if i already know im pregnant!!
but when i compare to last weeks.. there is a slight dfference.. very very slight!

if i was having a chemical.. it woulda disapeared by now right ?

so i think my hormone is just taking its time to build up.
i just want to see those 2 dark lines.. u know what i mean ???
im such a worrier!!
xx

Hi Hayley. I think in medical terms, 5 weeks is still very very early, so the line could be understandably faint. Some ladies dont even get a line this early. I would worry the same, I know I would, but I agree with the other ladies, start enjoying the fact that you are pregnant. Not sure if I saw your post at the time, but if not, congratulations hun xxx

Hi Hayley

the cheapie tests were still faint for me at 5 weeks too so I did a TEsco one - came up instantly with two beautifully dark lines. cheapies have never got as dark as I'd like - think it's just them.

So I know exactly what you mean about wanting those perfect dark lines!

Hope that helps and you're going on OK

Hi

I'm in the same boat, very faint line, i mean very faint were i need a second opinion to make sure I'm not imagining it- lol.

I had implantation bleeding a week ago, so that the reason its faint I'm hoping, I'm also getting pains in my side but i think I'm just getting them because ive just found out i could be pregnant.

I used a first response, looking on the internet there seem to be a lot of people with this problem, so now I'm not sure if there the best to use even thou there so popular, on friday I'm going to get a digital one and take it

Are you going to take one again - if so we can do it the same day and compare-lol let me know

Summer.

hi hayley,

how r u doing?

go out and buy the asda tests, I got really strong lines with those.

after 5 tests I still wanted the doctor to confirm it for me even though he wouldn't as he said cause I took 5 I would be pregnant, but I called the nurse and she did one and confirmed it, so maybe even go back to the doctors just to put ur mind at ease.

xx
