Post subject: new to this hi i have a daughter she was born oct. 30th 06! and i have a son was born 4/30/04 but im so worried about my daughter. Because she's a year old and she hasnt learned to stand or walk yet she dont even try we try to stand her up and she wont even put pressure on her legs and when we put her in the floor to play with her toys she wont do nothing but sit there i have no clue whats wrong with her but its worrying me like crazy i dont know if i need to ask the doctor on somethin like this... i know she has muscle in her legs because sometimes she does crawl around and when we stand her up against the table or somethin she will stand up against the table but im just running out of ideas on teachin her how to stand and walk my son wasnt like this... i think she's just being stubborn! but im just so worried:( i need advice do ya'll have any i would greatly appreciate it... thanx

Post subject: hi mommeof2, don`t worry, my son was 17 months before he took his first step. well done for encouraging her and keep it up, but she will do it when she`s ready. it could be that her leg muscles need to strengthen a bit more. it just takes time thats all.
