As an 18 year old mum with a 1 year old i've always found that people look down on you and you can never win, heres some exsamples to help people feel at ease, your the perant you do what you think is right, and often is its your child you kno best, its instinct. dont listen to the other people most the time there jealous and listening will just lead to depression. and people always say how Ashley is always happy, smiling and content, and people say to me in the shops 'oh hes giving me a lovely smile.' ect

your holding him to much, restricting him or your not holding him anough or giving him attention.

hes messy (after just eaten) you cant have a messy baby or hes a baby its good to get messy and learn and have fun.

the flats in a mess (ermmmm i have got a few months old baby) or the flat is to tidy for a person with a baby you should relax.

i can remember 1 time me older sister gave Ashley some cream out of her cake when he was only a few months old without asking then 1 second later was like oh i got some wet wipes if you havent i hate messy faces blah blah blah and got her wipes out and wiped his face. she was like i cant belive you have no wipes, ect. well i did have wipes but id bearly just relised shed givin him cream when she wasnt ment to (she was sat across a big tablee with many people on) before i could even wipe his face.

there are many other storys but i dont want to bore you all with mine i would like to here every1 elses.

just to say let things go across your head. most critisim comes from people without children. so be confident aand happy and dont let it get to you Smile

i was a bit nervous writing this post as i thought even then someone may look down on me so thankyou for all your lovely replys just remember your the perant lol.yes Ashley did have a problem with weight gaining quite a lot of the times.i think where there premature they catch bugs so much easier and this dosnt help.but if it is anything to worry about then im sure your health visiter should say something.my boyfriend was a twin and was born about 1pound i think and now he is muscley (and has a bit of a belly) but he has had 19 years to grow lol : ) remember sweet things come in small packages lol
