Post subject: New Arrival! Hi all
well, I've not been around for a while, so you can guess why 
After something of a long labour (just over 80 hours altogether, starting last Tuesday  ) baby Isaac John Henry was born at 01:27am on Saturday by natural birth. He was 6lbs 15oz
I'm home now after a short stay in the SCBU (he was born with a cleft palate so feeding was a big issue for the poor little mite, all sorted with specialist bottles and teats now though) and just getting into being a Mum. So excited and happy
Thought I'd pop on and let you guys know how it all went! I'll be back around on the forums soon I hope, although its amazing how fast time just disappears now I have this beautiful little man to look after! I've been thinking about you alot latrly wondering if you had had the baby....Glad things are ok as they can be....

i'd been following your posts for a while and was getting all excited for you!!! i thought you must have been close to due date, what a beautiful name for your son too - we're having another baby boy and are completley stuck for names!! i already have Evan 20 months and am thinking of Ethan for new bubs, whaddaya think?? and huge congrats on surviving an 80hour labour, my goodness i thought my 18 hour one was bad enough!! well done you!! bet your little man's cute..... all the best, sakura xx Posted: Wed Dec 26, 2007 7:15 pm
Post subject: Thanks all! We're fine - just pretty tired a lot of the time as he seems to have decided that sleep is for the weak
I'm also expressing every 4 hours on top of feeding every 2hrs, so its really just feed/sleep at the moment! All good fun though, and he really is incredibly sweet and gorgeous
