Snotty nose!!

Post subject: Snotty nose!! Hi all, does anyone know a nice gentle and effective way of cleaning out a babies nose? My 6mnth old has a cold and really hates me trying to wipe it but he is really blocked up and finds it hard to feed.

Post subject: try those nasal aspirators, you can get them in boots or even tescos, they arent very expensive and they dont hurt or anything...otherwise try a bit of karvol on the sheet in his cot. x

Post subject: Thanks for that!! We dont have those stores in NZ but I assume if I ask for that nasal thinggy at a chemist they should know what I mean!!! Such a battle just to clean his nose and then when Ive finished he laughs at me!! Little toad

Post subject: He see's the cotton buds coming and then shakes his head side to side really fast so I cant pin him down!!! Cant believe how strong he is!!! He such a Monkey, going to get one of those nasal things today, ( its Wed here now ) and hopefully it should work a treat!!

Post subject: I had trouble with my lo nose then i found nasosol... think its spelt right! they are nasal drops for little ones that help to loosen hardened snots! I use it and they just drop out!!!!! then u have to find them! good luck
