af after m/c

Post subject: I bled for about 6 weeks or so after mc. Stiopped the other week but still waiting for af....so not entirely sure how long it takes. Sorry I cant tell you more but I have been wondering the same as you.

Post subject: I'll keep you posted as i had a d&c just over a week a go but stopped bleeding a few days later following my mmc. I still have pg hormones in my body at present so i guess as soon as they go i might get my af. Hope i dont have to wait too long x

Post subject: i miscarriaged on 21 dec and stopped bleeding 30th december

Post subject: I was also told 4-6 weeks, maybe longer depending how regular your cycle was before your pregnancy, but some women take longer to ovulate after a m/c, and may need help in doing so, i m/c just over 2 weeks ago and have already ovulated, so i am expecting af to arrive as normal, approx 28 day cycle.

Post subject: I got mines last month approx 4 weeks later.
Tho my hcg levels had dropped 2 weeks after my mc so maybe thats why mine was almost on time and i didnt have to wait long. One thing I must say..is It was VERY painful. Post subject: hi there i m/c in october and also wondered hoe long till af arrived ,,,, fortunatly she never did ! i was lucky enough to fall preg again ,,,,, but i was told its usually 6 weeks x x x good luck all ttc

Post subject: Had my mc on 9th jan. Was lucky and stopped bleeding on 14th jan. Just had my first AF on 12th Feb.
It hurt like hell have never had such a painful period but I assume my body was just making sure everything was cleared and now we can start trying again. Hope everything goes ok for you hun. Kim xx Posted: Mon Feb 23, 2009 10:24 am
Post subject: Well the witch looks like she is making an appearance today and that is exactly 28 days from the start of my MC at 6 and a bit weeks. I suppose its good tho. cos it means my body has fully recovered and right back to atomic clock precision agan!
