Normal activities have resumed Razz Bruising was all gone after about a week (we used Arnica) and stitches dissolved not long after so it won't be long for your oh to be back on form Razz Ohhh how exciting for you!! be sure to let us know how he got on Razz

Well Hubby had it done yesterday morning, he is bed ridden for 48, the procedure the used has stints or splints in at the tubes to keep them open and they have to be removed in 48hrs which is sunday, he says he isnt in to much pain just discomfort not much bruising so far, really emotional for me. the hospital he is in is an hour drive away and an 1hr and a half visiting hr, Now my dd has came down witht that awful bug vomiting and diarrhea so we can't go up. and i am begining to feel a bit rough too. something always gets in the way lol, soon be ttc and hoping for a bfp.xx

Hi Emma, glad the op went well. I haven't heard of them using stints before either Confused So does he come home after they have removed them on Sunday or does he have to stay in until Monday? Goodluck with ttc when you can get down to it Razz

Hi, sorry for the late reply, they where actually called stents, mainly used in america and some parts of britain etc. basically they are approx the size of match sticks and are inserted into vas tubes so that when the vas heals it heals open around them and prevents too much scar tissue bacially the stents stay in they eventually dissolve although they are still there at present, but the stitch that holds them in place is removed without pain relief. although according to our consultant it is one of the best procedures with a good success rate(i'll be the judge of that) Laughing bruising and swelling completley gone normal activities resumed. we used arnica and found it fantastic although think hubby should of started taking it same day of op he was very very swollen size of two madarins and very black all at one side that had to have extra tugging done, testing 8th april although know it is unlikely to have worked that quick. Hope everyone gets ther bfp and our reversal without any problems. love em xx
