My daughter is 19 weeks and when weighed last week was 18lb 2oz.Does anyone have babies the same age and how big are they?

She was 6lb 11oz at birth and being bottle fed,to be honest she does have a few rolls, but is quite long too,I think when they get weighed the should measure them too and work out their weight by that!

doesn't sound overly fat to me! Isaac is long too, and is on teh 75th centile line for weight - he put on 1lb a week for about 3 months early on (but on breast milk so that's normal). Usually formula babies are a bit smaller in the first 4 months, but your little lady is clearly bucking the trend Very Happy

Babies SHOULD have little rolls of fat on them, its why its called 'puppy fat' Very Happy

also bear in mind girls and boys hold fat diferently - girls seem to always have more round their tummies and bums Very Happy

poor girl will doubtless end up obsessing about her weight by the time she's a teenager - let her enjoy being a little podger for a while Very Happy
