Baby girl 29+2 and photo

Post subject: Baby girl 29+2 and photo I had my baby on 7th March, 29+2 weeks, weighing in at 3lb2oz. 1 week on she is off her ventilator, being tube feed and moved from high dependancy to low dependancy in the neonatal dept at Sunderland hospital. She is doing great, here she is:

 My baby was even smaller than her and was only in hospital for 22 days so fingers crossed you get your baby home soon.

Post subject: Her name is Annie, she has been in hospital 9 days now, the sucking reflex doesn't come in till you are 34 weeks preg, I would be almost 31 + 4 now, so will be a while yet I would think. I am so missing her at home, its really tiring going to the hospital everyday and a 30m round trip, I try to go twice a day and spend about 6 hours a day there. I just can't wait till its time to bring her home.

Post subject: I found it hard too Carol even although the hospital is only 5 mins drive from me, i used to go down around 9am - 5pm then go home for an hour, back down at 6.30pm until 9pm. So you must be feeling exhaused traveling 30 miles.
I didnt know that about the sucking reflex, my baby was born at 34 weeks so i was lucky as she had her first bottle feed around 5 days after she was born. Annie is beautiful though, she really is and she will come on so well, if you look at my Aimee, she was born at 34 weeks, weighing 2lb 15oz and is now a chubby 11lb 1oz. And there is another girl on here, Helz123, she had Megan at 30 weeks i think, she was also 2lb 15oz and i think she is around 9lbs now Keep us updated on Annie xx _________________ Posted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 1:23 am
Post subject: Re: Baby girl 29+2 and photo morning you have a lovley little girl, i had my little girl at 28 weeks she is now 6yrs old n doing fine doctors said she would have 2be in there 4 about 3mths but she was out in 4weeks! just be strong n she will be home with you before you know it!!!!
