hi there, was trying to upload my 3d scan pic as my avatar but its too big i think as it wouldnt show up? how do i shrink it?

Go to http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
Up-load the pic you want... set size to 80 pixels.. follow the instructions and resize and save.
