Post subject: 3rd Child but diabetic this time - its so different!!! Hi there
I am pregnant with child number 3 but this time I was already type 2 diabetic before I got pregnant, lots of hospital appointments and advice that I can not have this child on the normal delievery ward run by midwifes.. Had great birth with first child (7lb 3oz) but a horrid one with my second where I was induced and they did not believe me so they gave me sleeping tablets and I was in and out of consiousness while delivering sobbing they did not believe me (reported to have said this over 100 times!!!!) she was eventually born weiging 9lb 9oz. Have just been put on insulin and my sugar levels are all over the place and I am being really good with my diet. I need to sort my levels out. Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:43 pm

I am on my 3rd pregnancy and type 1 diabetic. I had normal delivery with first daughter (13) and c section with 2nd (11), My bloods have been up and down with this pregnancy but i'm just testing more often and adjusting the insulin. Good luck with yours xx Posted: Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:15 am
Post subject: hi just though ti would let you know that although i dont know anything about pregnancy and diabetes i know that a user on here called Yobri , who is a lovely lady has exactly the same issues and is insulin dependant.
I'm sure if you were to pm her she would be more than happy to help you. I will mention this post to her next time i see her. i hope all goes well for you! x x x
